Faith and the Family
Guest speaker: Dr. Ray Guarendi
Dr. Ray Guarendi is the father of 10, clinical psychologist, author, public speaker and nationally syndicated radio host. His radio show- "The Doctor Is In" - can be heard weekdays. He also hosts his own national television show, "Living Right With Dr. Ray." His experience includes school districts, Head Start programs, mental health centers, substance abuse programs, inpatient psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and a private practice.
For all types of audiences.

Guest speaker: Dr. Thomas Lickona
Dr. Thomas Lickona is a developmental psychologist and professor of education at the State University of New York at Cortland, where he directs the Center for the Fourth and Fifth Rs (Respect and Responsibility). He speaks around the world to teachers, parents, religious educators, and other groups concerned about the character development of young people. His publications include: Character Matters: How to Help Our Children Develop Good Judgment, Integrity, and Other Essential Virtues (2004) and Smart and Good High Schools (2005) (with Matthew Davidson). Registration
As of December 20th there has been great interest for this In-Service Day. Due to space limitations, lunch is no longer available for those who wish to attend the event; however, registrations will continue to be accepted. The cost of the event without lunch is $12.00.

Women, Faith, and Evangelization
Guest speakers: Dr. Mary Healy and Msgr. Frank Lane, PhD
The Athenaeum will host a day for women of faith. Dr. Mary Healy, STD, who teaches sacred scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, will give two talks -“Women of Holiness in Scripture” and “Women of Holiness Today”- and Msgr. Frank Lane, PhD, will give a talk on “Women and the Crisis of Modern Society”. Archbishop Schnurr will celebrate Mass that evening.
