Bequests/Planned Giving - St. Gregory Legacy Society When Bishop Edward Fenwick founded the Athenaeum of Ohio in 1829 to train local priests, he could not have foreseen the legacy he would leave -- an institution which would evolve to train thousands of priests, high school and college students, teachers and lay ministers. The St. Gregory Legacy Society was established to honor those who have made The Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary's Seminary part of their legacy through a planned gift. Membership is granted to individuals who confirm that they have made The Athenaeum of Ohio/Mt. St. Mary's Seminary a beneficiary of their estate plans, either through a bequest, life insurance policy, charitable annuity or trust, or a gift of real estate or other property. There is no minimum amount required to make a gift from your estate, only a firm belief in our mission. As a member of St. Gregory Legacy Society, you will receive: · An attractive medallion and base symbolizing your support of the Athenaeum through an estate gift · Invitations to St. Gregory Legacy Society and other Athenaeum events · Remembrances in the intercessions during Masses at the Athenaeum's Chapel of St. Gregory the Great For more information on the St. Gregory Legacy Society or to add your name to our mailing list, please contact the development office at (513) 231-2223 or via email at jjackson@athenaeum.edu . |
