L 200 Biblical Hebrew I
This course provides the student with the opportunity to gain
fundamental knowledge about the structure and syntax of Biblical
Hebrew. Pronunciation and reading will be emphasized. This
course is intended to serve as a foundation for Biblical Hebrew II.

L 201 Biblical Hebrew II
This course is a continuation of Biblical Hebrew I. It will provide
the student with the opportunity to advance his/her understanding of the
structure and syntax of the language. At the conclusion of the course, the
student should have gained a certain degree of independence in working
with the original text of the Hebrew Bible. Prerequisite: L 200. (3 Credits)
L 251 Biblical Greek I
This course provides the student with the opportunity to gain fundamental
knowledge about the structure and syntax of New Testament Greek.
Pronunciation and reading will be emphasized. This course is intended to
serve as a foundation for Biblical Greek II. (3 Credits)
L 252 Biblical Greek II
This course is a continuation of Biblical Greek I. It will provide the
student with the opportunity to advance his/her understanding of the
structure and syntax of New Testament Greek. At the conclusion of the
course, the student should have gained a certain degree of independence in
working with the text of the New Testament. Prerequisite: L 251 (3
Credits)
L 253 Advanced Biblical
Greek
This course will be available to those who have had at least two quarters
of Greek. We will read through material from the New Testament and perhaps
even the Septuagint. The focus will be chiefly on the grammar and syntax
exhibited by the literature. Special attention will be given to critical
commentaries on the material we read. Prerequisites: L 251 and 252 or
equivalent. (3 Credits)
